Project in brief
Located at a distance of 730 km north-east of Kathmandu, Siwa Khola HPP is one of the very few Peaking Run of River (PROR) type projects in Nepal. The project is proposed in Siwa river in Taplejung District, Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. The headworks is proposed on the left bank of Siwa river and powerhouse on right bank of Mewa river between elevation of 1629.51 m and 1452 m above mean sea level.
